We love Sonlife! This is a fantastic community church with wonderful welcoming atmosphere. It’s my parents home church and we’re blessed to have it as our church “home away from home”. They have been great supporters of our ministry and hosted the Rock-n-Worship Camp. Awesome community!

- I Am Free
July 1 – Off ! I was wiped after the camp, so it was enjoyable just to visit two churches connected to my roots in the Salisbury MD area.
The first was Oak Ridge Baptist Church. Excellent hospitality and welcome, great modern service, very well produced, great sound, great modern full blown worship team, excellent message, casual atmosphere, very seeker friendly and purpose-driven vibe. Refreshing!
I really liked it.
I didn’t write down the songs, but they were all good. One I remember was they introduced Matt Redman’s 10,000 Reasons (Bless The Lord O My Soul) – a great song and one I plan to learn and use.
The second was Allen Memorial Baptist Church. A very nice neuvo classic church, excellent welcome and hospitality, very good acoustic worship, excellent message, nice atmosphere. I recommend it.
I didn’t write down the songs, but the worship leader Cory Franklin was excellent. One song he led was Freedom Reigns – a great song. I picked it up and used it the next two weeks!
Why visit these particular churches? Well, we attended Oak Ridge back in the early 80’s before we moved to Nashville. And Allen Memorial was my families church growing up. I was baptized there at age 12. Great memories!
