Our Pentecost series continues exploring the question “What does it mean to dream big?†Today’s answer Part 4: “Make Your Life Count“.
Key ideas and scriptures from today’s podcast.
To make your life count I shared these personal goals. Feel free to adapt for your own versions.
1 . A life goal to hear the words “well done”.
His master replied, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things; I will put you in charge of many things. Enter into the joy of your master!’ – Matthew 25:23
2. Be a man or woman of God, strong in the Lord.
Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Ephesians 6:10
Though as Paul, I might say I am amongst the chief of sinners, nonetheless, those who are in Christ Jesus are “new creations” re-created to do good works.
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. 2 Corinthians 5:17
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. Ephesians 2:10
3. Encourage whole-hearted worship in any context.
My personal mission at this stage of life is to encourage folks to “love the Lord your God with all your heart, mind, soul, and strength” in “spirit and in truth”. Mark 12:30 and John 4:24
Music style and church style do not matter.
So my friends, dream big and make your life count for the glory of God!
The Lord be with you!
