A little while back I asked for input compiling essential songs for a new contemporary service I’ll help launch at a traditional denominational church. Thanks to everyone who offered suggestions! There were many great ideas for new songs and how to plan with them.Â
What I’ve done is put the top 30 something songs in Planning Center Online , arranged them in a “plan” in alphabetical order, and assembled a Master Songbook. This can easily be added to or re-arranged.
We’ll make more adjustments after our core worship team meeting. We’ll also talk a little about Practical Theology of Worship.
