The Invitation
I’ve been invited to teach pastors, worship musicians and developing leaders in Sri Lanka. The trip is in November of 2012. [Read about my other missions trips here.]
In this video, recorded at the School of Worship in Timisoara Romania, missionary Tom Johnson and I share the purpose and vision of the mission.
Tom has been training and mentoring church leaders around the world. He was instrumental in helping start the Scoala de Inchinare in Romania. Like myself, he has been one of the Scoala’s most consistent professors, teaching on leadership all seven years.

It seems the time is right for in-depth instruction and impartation in worship for the fledgling body of Christ in Sri Lanka.
An island nation off the coast of India, Sri Lanka is predominately Hindu and Buddhist. Christians are a tiny minority of less than 6%.
The training event will impact about 200 pastors and leaders. I’ll be a keynote speaker and part of an international team of instructors. The need for biblical teaching on worship is significant.
I feel this is a good fit for me and that I’m called to go.
Fundraising
My travel and other expenses of the mission will require about 5K. I need to raise the money by mid-September.
If the funds come in by then, I’m going. If not, then I can’t go.
It’s that simple.
I’m sharing this vision and need with people who know me either personally or through my (tiny) web platform. Pray about it and respond as God leads you. I hope people reading this will support the assignment I have as one who is willing to go and make disciples.
