This was a very special Sunday as I played with the worship team of Faith Church, Baja Hungary. I gave the Sunday message on … Wholehearted Worship. This is a multi-generational church of over 300 with a wonderful spirit of worship.
We’ve had a long relationship through the Sozo Festival connection. I led a two day “Wholehearted Worship” seminar for the worship ministry folks – about 30. Then we spent the day Saturday on a wonderful boat excursion on the Danube and an evening cookout, with a lot of music to boot.
Hungarian is a very unique and difficult language. I was honored that several of the songs were ones I had composed or introduced through Sozo Festival from back in the day. All the songs were in Hungarian, except special songs in the message.
- Â Shabach (Call to Worship)
- Lift Up Your Heads (Psalm 24)
- When the Spirit of The Lord
- Shabach
- Ez Az A Nap (A New Anointing/This is the Day)
- spontaneous “Hallelujahâ€
- Hallelujah
- Agnes Dei
- Lord I Give You My Heart
During the message I shared:
- The Shema (English and Hungarian)
- No Easy Answers
- Honor & Majesty
- Lord I Give You My Heart (Reprise)
- Forever (Tomlin)
This was the fourth of five Sunday’s I’ve been in eastern Europe and the 23rd day of my missions trip. I travel to Budapest on Monday and fly to London, then travel to Stratford Upon Avon for the Sozo Festival. Ivalene and the team from Nashville leave Tuesday and will arrive Wed. You can follow more immediate updates on our missions Facebook page.
We really appreciate your prayers.
