“I was glad when they said let us go to the house of the Lord” Psalm 122:1

Fabulous weather this weekend in Tennessee, and a great day for worship at Christ Community Church, McMinnville.

Last Sunday was “Bluegrass Weekend” so today our music style was more contemporary. Nothing though is quite as cool as “contemporvant.”

We started off with this video as our invitation to worship, first time I think we did this at CCC.

Video: EVERY BLESSING WORSHIP INTRO produced by Motion Worship, courtesy of Worshiphouse Media.

The music track on the video is in they key of “G”, so we started playing along with the end of the track and launched straight into:

  • Unchanging (Tomlin)
  • My Savior Lives (Egan, Packiam) New! I think this was the first time I’ve done this song. Fun. Simple. Christ centered. Great for an Easter celebration. (Dude you’re so 2005 … )
  • Holy Holy Holy (contemporary arrangement by Still)
  • Remembrance (Maher)
  • This Is My Fathers World (hymn)

This post is part of the Worship Community Sunday Set list roundup. See what other communities are doing here: http://www.theworshipcommunity.com/sunday-setlist-169/

Question: Did your church do a new song this weekend? What was it? We love comments!
