Well I’m excited to return to Eastern Europe this year with my wife Ivalene. During the month of May 2017 we will teach in Ukraine, then minister in Bulgaria, lead worship in Hungary and finish in France.
We’ll depart the USA the beginning of May and return at the end of May.
UKRAINEÂ WORSHIP CONFERENCE
To start off, Ivalene and I will join a team of presenters at the “Music In Worship” conference May 4-6 in Kiev, Ukraine presented by Ukrainian Evangelical Theological Seminary.
TEACHING AT UKRAINIAN EVANGELICAL THEOLOGICAL SEMINARY
The next week May 8-15, we’ll lecture at UETS teaching in the Music Ministry and Theology Department. The courses I’m teaching will be Essential Biblical Foundations of Christian Worship during the day and Worship Music Composition and Songwriting Workshop in the evenings. Ivalene will teach a Children’s Worship Workshop for leaders interested in teaching children to be worshipers.
Besides teaching, we will be there to coach, mentor, advise and encourage students and staff.
We will be partnering with our good friends Fred and Judie Heumann (his non-profit is Music Works International). Fred is a frequent instructor and conference speaker at UETS and fellow Robert E Webber Institute for Worship Studies alum.
To see more pics and learn more about our work at the seminary, see this post “Ukraine Missions Trip Report 2016”.
Bulgaria – Worship Workshop
We will lead a Wholehearted Worship Seminar in Bulgaria (Silistra) May 20 – 21. More details to follow.
Ez Az A Nap – Budapest Hungary
I will be one of those leading worship at the 24 hour worship vigil at the Ez Az A Nap (This Is The Day) event in Budapest on May 27.
I’ve been honored that my song Ez Az A Nap [A New Anointing / This Is The Day] has been used as a theme song for the event and is somewhat well known in Hungary. This youtube link of Ez Az A Nap is of the songs debut back in the day.
We’re looking forward to ministering in Hungary!
More details about other places we will serve are still coming together as of this writing.Â
Prayer Support (MOST NEEDED AND APPRECIATED!)
We are honored to be invited to serve our dear Christian brothers and sisters in eastern Europe. Prayer support is the most valuable asset we need. Pray for:
- Safe Travel – many moving parts!
- Health and energy
- Protection from all harm, especially with the tense international situation
- Great clarity, wisdom and focus as we prepare and adjust our ministry and teaching plans
- Anointing to share with transformative impact and inspiration
- An impartation for those we will be serving, that they would receive the fullness of what God wants to deliver through our efforts
- NO DRAMA
- Financial provision
- After returning, please pray for us for a few days.
We will post updates, praise and prayer reports on this secret Facebook group. Just click to join! (How cool is that?)
These updates are the most fun and best part of partnering with us. I’ll post pictures, videos and the latest info.  It’s almost like you are there. Join our Intercessors Facebook group!
Rob Still Ministries will also be donating books, instruments and other resources. If you would be interested in helping fund the mission (our expenses will be about $7500.00), you can make a tax deductible donation here.
We serve “the least of these”. Their financial need is great and there are many difficulties for our Christian brothers and sisters around the world. We raise our own support and pay our own travel and expenses. Our work – and theirs – is only possible with God’s grace and your partnership. So, thank you so much for your prayers and financial support! God is changing lives for his glory through our missions projects. We can not go without the help of friends like you!
Thank you and God bless you!
