Smoking awesome Sunday at Hendersonville First United Methodist contemporary service. You had to be there I guess. Also, looks like I’m gonna start leading the choir at the traditional service staring next Sunday.
- Opening Prayer [Lord Open our lips, and our mouths shall declare your praise]
- Oh Taste And See
- The Great I Am
- Whom Shall I Fear
- The Wonderful Cross
- Message: “The Lesson of The Fig Tree” Pastor Don Hutchinson
- Holy Communion
- The Old Rugged Cross – special music, Travis Birch
One Thing Remains (new)
- Hold Us Together
This was our first time to introduce “One Thing Remains”, made popular by Jesus Culture, (and also from Rock-n-Worship Camp repertoire).
We also repeated Great I Am for the second week.
Travis Birch sang an ol’ timey country version of “Old Rugged Cross” for the offertory. It was very cool.
