It was Third Sunday of Advent at Hendersonville First United Methodist Church.
Our service began with prayer for the those mourning in Connecticut.
Later, as special music I shared my new arrangement of “I Heard The Bells”.
Though it wasn’t a “happy clappy” service, there was comfort and yes, – joy as we sang some of the great songs of the Christian faith.
O come all ye faithful, joyful and triumphant
